According to the requirements of the consumer goods industry's "three products" strategy of "increasing variety, improving quality, and creating brands", the Paper Industry Association has also developed its own future work plan. In terms of increasing variety, the Paper Industry Association will guide and promote further enhancement of new product development capabilities and brand creation capabilities; In terms of improving quality, the association's focus is on enhancing the product quality of uncoated printing paper, household paper, packaging paper and paperboard, specialty paper and paperboard, and optimizing the structure of these varieties. The purpose of these tasks is to enable the paper industry to meet the diverse demands of the consumer market, forming a high precision, distinctive, and differentiated structure of paper and cardboard products.
At the same time, the Paper Association also said that it would make full use of the opportunities brought by the Internet era to explore a new model of "Internet plus+marketing, production and logistics" for paper and paper products, so as to provide more flexible product choices and more convenient and fast services for the society.
In recent years, the papermaking industry has made rapid technological progress, and circular, low-carbon, and green economy have become new development themes. As a basic raw material industry supporting the manufacturing industry, China's paper industry is also entering an important transformation period after achieving leapfrog development. Market competition, resource scarcity, and environmental constraints are increasingly intensifying, requiring deep adjustments to seek new balance and development. The next step for the paper industry is to implement a sustainable development strategy, leveraging the low-carbon, green, and recyclable characteristics of the paper industry, protecting resources and the environment, and building a technology innovative, resource-saving, and environmentally friendly green paper industry.
